Dogs

I love my doggies. Labs are so kewl! My two dogs are Zoe and Cooper. Zoe is a beautiful chocolate lab and Coopie is a cutie pie. He is a yellow lab. Cooper has cancer. He just had surgery to remove a tumor on his pancreas. We are hoping that the doctors were able to get it all and that it does not return.

I Love Candles

I love candles. They are pretty and they smell good. I can sit for hours and just watch the flame. Yes - I am easily amused.

I hate the time change!

You would think that gaining an hour would be exciting.  To most people it probably is.  I HATE it!  The way my circadian rhythm is makes it so much more difficult to wake up in the mornings than usual.  It is hard enough as it is but to do it an hour later is rough.  Do not ask me why that is because I do not know.  I can wake up at 7 Daylight Saving Time (DST) but to wake up at 7 Standard Time which would have been 8 DST is near to impossible.  I know I am a freak but that is just the way it is.  Why can't we just leave the time on Daylight Saving Time all year 'round?

Real World Writing Quarter 2

Welcome to the blogs of my Real World Writing class.  Blogging is a new way of communicating and tons of people do it now on a regular basis.  Blogs can be personal journals, funny expressions of wit, or discussions centered around a theme.  Please read the blogs linked on the right hand side of my page and enjoy.  Each student has created his/her individual blog and is required to update it once weekly.  This should be a fun quarter.
